7 go to Orkney

The partners of cameronwebster architects, with 3 kids, an elderly spaniel and rattly roof pod drove north to Orkney, for a site visit. An epic journey, involved a ferry crossing, spotting scuttled First World War ships and loosing the rattly roof pod, whilst admiring the landscape and local architecture. We stayed in a remote farm, called Wheems, where they are building  four timber bothies to sit in the beautiful landscape and look out to sea. For those who prefer a more stable camping experience!
