5 35′ West

The two storey building is locked into the site, by building it into the rock, with a west facing gallery at first floor level and a view to  Loch Beag. The light filled kitchen is at the heart of the house, with a high ceiling, well appointed fittings, a full sized larder and views to the east and west. The living room steps up to be level with the top of the rock, with panoramic views through the full height glazing and a wood burning stove. The master bedroom and en suite are at the other end of the gallery with views to the north and west.
The structure is a steel frame that allows the building to cantilever over the entrance, and the house is clad in carefully detailed zinc, with timber windows.
